After graduating, Eefje kept herself busy with various film and television projects.
She works freelance for TV, writing and directing films for clients including Villa Achterwerk and VPRO TV. She has made several short fiction films, including the short film Jetzt kommen die Kamele under the guidance of Maria Goos.
With her own collective, Cinergy, she makes productions informed by the crossover of theatre and film. Eefje is directorially associated with the Cake production company.
